Questions about official Washburn County criminal records belong with the public office that created or keeps the document. The contacts below route court files to the Clerk, sheriff reports to the Sheriff's Office, custody questions to the jail, and statewide history requests to Wisconsin DOJ.

This Is Not a Government Office. This private reference resource cannot retrieve records, perform an official check, correct a history, or accept an expungement filing. The responsible public custodian must handle those services.

Need an Official Record?

Use the Washburn County or Wisconsin office tied to the record:

  • Court case files: contact the Washburn County Clerk of Circuit Court for filed complaints, judgments, certification, and older records.
  • Criminal-history responses: order from the Wisconsin DOJ Crime Information Bureau through WORCS or its current forms.
  • Sheriff reports: send a focused request to the Washburn County Sheriff's Office administration contact.
  • Bookings and current custody: call the Washburn County Jail separately from the records request line.
  • City police reports: ask Spooner, Shell Lake, Minong, or Birchwood police when that department created the report.
  • Expungement: file any supported request in the original court case with the Clerk.
